Do you enjoy richly developed songwriting delivered with genuine passion and great skill? of course you do. Therefore you should check out the music made by Charlie Law.
Like many of the local singer-songwriters around Suffolk, I first encountered Charlie at an open mic a couple of years ago. I was mesmerised by his performance and very moved by his song ‘Who Made Heaven’ which stayed with me for a long time. In fact I still wake up humming it sometimes. Such a great song.
Charlie has managed to achieve that which many of us singer-songwriters aim for. His music is engaging and memorable, whist at the same time tackling important and challenging issues such as prejudice, religion (Who Made Heaven) and depression (My Black Dog). An artist of considerable range, he has also written some fantastic, tow-tapping sing along songs such as ‘broken campervan’ a firm favourite among many followers of the Suffolk music scene.
Sadly for us Charlie is moving to London soon and so will be out and about around Suffolk less often. So I recommend you check his music out at the earliest possible moment.
All the best in London Charlie, I’m looking forward to hearing what comes next!
