I first saw these guys a couple of years ago at The Railway pub in Ipswich. I was an instant fan and have been following their music making ever since.
“Rusty Boxx are an acoustic duo, siblings Ross and Ellen Ankers. They released their debut EP 'Scattered Keeses' in 2014 and followed by their self recorded, EP 'Fern & Leave' (available on Spotify and Itunes)”*
I would describe their music as an expansive acoustic soundscape, with truly beautiful vocal harmonies, which for some reason always evoke images of nature and stunning landscapes in my mind’s eye whenever I listen to them. Their EP ‘Fern & Leave’ has been played on repeat on my iPod virtually non-stop since it was released. I can strongly recommend that you get hold of a copy as soon as humanly possible, and if they play at a venue near you go and check them out!
I’m excited for what the future has in hold for these talented guys.
